My point is that the IT market is, and will continue to be, worse in KC than
the rest of the country, for the reasons I gave.

The stock market doesn't really employ all that many people, Matt.
Individual investors don't have much effect on it.

What I've seen is that when the economy slows, there are a lot of big, badly
run businesses that respond immediately by cutting their workforces.

Who do they think is going to buy their product if everybody gets laid off?
Henry Ford understood this, he determined to pay his workers wages that were
unheard of at the time, so that they would be able to buy the products they
produced.
