The cost of living is *way* cheaper in India. I have friends here who work
for Infosys, an Indian company, and they have told me about the conversion
rate of rupees to dollars and how much a rupee will buy there. You can eat
breakfast for what amounts to about 30 cents. A nice dinner for $2-$5. They
are earning a decent wage, but their low cost of living allows them to bid
lower and still make out quite well. Our higher wages push our cost of
living up, which requires higher wages, and so on. We need to learn to live
more simply. I'm not saying I'm good at doing that, but I realize that I
need to do it.

Just my $.02

Peace,
Jim
