strange console behavior (followup)

How you liking gentoo? I recently upgraded my kde from 3.0.1 to 3.0.2
and am getting some funky behavior after coming out of screensaver 
mode/suspend screen mode.
I'll have to do another rsync tonight to see if it is a package 
bug or kde or some other package.
