It's a Mandrake specific bug. I remember fixing this one myself on my Mandrake
box just a few days before I switched to Gentoo. The easiest way to fix it is
to change the command that's run when you click your little konsole button on
the toolbar. The command Mandrake has in there is 'konsole--noxft
--someotheropt'. Just put a space between konsole and --noxft, or take out
--noxft entirely, if you want to you use anti-aliasing for some reason. At
least, that's how I seem to remember that bug. You may have to hunt down the
konsole.desktop file whereever your kde install is kept.
(/usr/share/kde/3/applnk-mdk?? something like that, I'm sure). Sorry this is
the best I can do, it's been too long since I've gone around and fixed this
on all the Mandrake systems I use.
