Dwindling resources

What about a delegated list - we could all choose (or volunteer) someone (or
a team of two or three - to cut down the workload) who's active on the list
to be the maintainer(s).  It seems to me like it would be pretty hard to
maintain a list when you don't take an active part in it.  (I say this
because whoever the list maintainer is did not respond to the earlier post
asking who it was.)
