you CAN install it if you so desire. make sure you tell it to install in
english tho, or the whole installation will be in german.
But if you don't have to install it. Knoppix will detect the hardware and
works on most computers and hardware. I had a problem with the modem when
i tried to run it off my mom's ME box.. (it is an HP computer)
