Yes you could load it on another persons PC as long as they have a CD that
you can boot from.
Knoppix is bootable from the CD and does not need anything installed on the
hard drive.
It will automatically use an existing swap partition.
One thing to take note of:  The initial Knoppix CD has a lot of data
compressed
on it so I would be patient if loading it on an older system.

ps: Some companies have strict rules prohibiting the loading of bootable
CDs.
I know of one the actually has Knoppix on their blacklist.

Hey,

I was just wondering if anybody has had any experience with Knoppix and what
you all could tell me about it. For instance, if I were to take it to
somebody elses machine I could run linux on that machine without installing
anything or changing the configuartion in any way?
