http://registry.sourceforge.net/ I think we should be afraid. Someone thinks this is a good idea. I think it would be nice if freedesktop.org and the LSB addressed standardizing config files and their locations, if they don't already. Also users should interchangeably be able to alter config files with GUI tools or text editor. Brian Kelsay
