my dumb question of the day

Sorry, I should have been more specific. :'(
My family tree is using text based files as the db to generate the web-pages.
There is also an option to use a SQL backend for the data. The SQL
backend can handle bigger family trees. But my tree is only one branch going
back only 400-500 years. Only a few thousands of records.
I think your machine will be more than enough power to
support several tens if not hundreds of users. My box is a webserver/mailserver/
firewall/ssh server (minimal to keep bad people from hacking into the box).
I have no performance issues. But my needs are few, and my standards forgiving
maybe. Also I'm not doing a lot of graphics intensive stuff on my site.
My mail server works as both webmail and remote secure-IMAP server. All running on
debian.
