And what mail program doesn't have a spell-checker? Here's a translation =
(spelling and grammar edited to make it readable and understandable):

When it's not your money you are spending, who cares? This is often an =
attitude one sees from the US government, for example. Swapping the hard =
drive is not the problem, initializing it is the problem. e.g. the BIOS =
must know about it or it will not work. Also, SCSI is super mystical =
hardware, however I do think they ride their namesake a little too much, =
which I hope will change soon before whey go the way of Novell and Apple. =
They are almost antiques, but still have their uses. (No flames please. =
I'm not busting either one's chops, I'm just stating a main stream =
opinion.)

I did a little searching and found:
1) No one wants to sell desktop drives @ 10k rpm, those are enterprise =
equipment.=20
2) Western Digital's SATA 72GB Enterprise 10k rpm drive that has 4.5 ms =
access time is $200, 80GB 7.2k rpm retail is $88. By the way, =
Seagate's 73GB 10k rpm SCSI drive is $120, so go figure.
3) Most drives available are not SCSI, are retail and reasonably priced. =
If it=20
has good access times, they want near SCSI prices or worse.

/ripcrd stirs the pot.
How's that spell-checking keyboard coming?
