Resizing Reiser

Well, keep in mind that your system was unuseable in the first place. Those tools are meant to
shrink or expand working partitions to a new size, not to fix screwups in the partition table or
overlaps like you had.

On my work box I have a mysterious partition 4 (NTFS) that randomly refuses to work or gets
corrupted. I have lost a ton of data on that partition. But it is probably something to do with
me imaging the root partition multiple times a day and one or more of the images not knowing
anything about that partition.

Essentially, while the tools I found claim to have resized the reiser
partition successfully, they left corruption in their wake and made the
system unbootable. YMMV.
