Nearly every subject indexed, with a propagation delay of about a minute
to share ideas with the brightest minds of other universities.  What
better forum can bring together the latest trends and research?  Mailing 
lists and google searches are great, but I feel nothing matched the 
utility of usenet news.

A university without usenet or a library is a university without power.  
I'd hate to be in the dark.
