Linux at UMKC

Hi All,

Just to put a little perspective on this. When I took
computer programming classes at UMKC in 1982 & 1983
they were just getting rid of the last few key punch
stations. (The IRS program center in town did not stop
using some key punchers until around 1990.)

The Big New Thing at UMKC involved programming from
your home via terminal program to the VAX. The system
of choice: the Commodore VIC-20.

Makes you stop & think, doesn't it.

Best,

Bob Kennedy
