I did the original install from the rpm. I've been told that the rpm is know to have "issues". I will reinstall it using source and see if that fixes my problem. I will try doing the "config" steps listed at http://www.squirrelmail.org/wiki/en_US/QuickAndDirty first though to see if that will fix it. Thanks for the responses everyone. Philip
