On my way to KC... a little help?

The KCMO public school system is not good. If you like the culture, and want
to be in KCMO there are plenty of private schools in various price ranges. 

Yes there is a big difference in culture--not just racial--in various parts
of town. For some of the newer parts of town some say there is a snobbish
attitude thinking they are better than the older areas--mostly parts of Jo
Co. But I have seen the same in Midtown where people say how can you build
something new when there is this great old building. (I guess its
environmental vs money vs history)

As for public transport, no it is not really that good, but if you are along
one of the following streets:
Main, Oak, Broadway, Wornal, or Brookside there is decent/good service to
downtown. Plaza to Downtown is the best (including Midtown and Westport)
South Plaza is still pretty good. Go south of 75th st. and the times of
service become too infrequent for things other than to/from work weekdays.
