Reasonable Hosting

We've seen some recommendations here for companies that provide free and
reasonably priced web hosting.  If you'd care to recommend someone, post
what details you can and I'll try to compile a list for comparison.  I'm
particularly interested in companies that will give you autonomy on a
physical or virtual Linux machine, and will allow a real domain name as
opposed to spammers-r-us.com/~goodguysite.
