Suse

I have SuSE running on 350MHz, 933MHZ and 2x1GHz machines. I started with
RH5.2 some years ago, but with the linux learning curve and pressure of work,
I postponed diving into the wonderful world of Linux until late last year. I
also ran SuSE on an IBM netfinity for several months with little difficulty.
The 3 machines I have are used daily for project work as well as the normal
personal stuff like email, web browsing.

As I have more than 1 system, SuSE recommended downloading 8.2 and installing
via NFS. I still haven't figured out how to upgrade the system housing the
download (as they are not ISO images), but I will eventually.
I can't say that SuSE is better than anything else, as I've not tried them
all, but I can say I'm very pleased with SuSE and hope to continue using it.

I also bought a copy of SuSE 7.0 recently, not to use, but at $1.50 from
Microcenter I couldn't resist!!! Looks great on the bookshelf.

GO SuSE!
