Cheaper programmers, it can't get any lower

Actually I find that link quite funny -- and as Brian was saying . . .
companies don't value employees anymore (when did they ever?) It's just
like telemarketing jobs or whatever else you can think of . . . they're
farming it out for cheap labor.
Isn't it sad and ironic that years ago people were told "go on, let those
manufacturing jobs go to other countries and instead learn computer skills
and do higher paying jobs . . . " Now we're cutting those jobs out and
sending them overseas. That web site provides a good bit of satire on the
plight of programmers. The only way that I see foreign work forces is a
great way for companies to run sweat shops without the
wages/bureaucracy/etc... that we have here in the states. Until other
countries put their foot down and demand equal wages, rights, etc... . . .
this crap will continue to go on. $49 DVD players are just great . . .
cheap computers . . . but when cars cost more than the average assembly
line worker makes in a year and when it takes two incomes just to run a
household . . . there is a problem somewhere.
