Hack a snap server

I'm still a relative newbie to the tech industry, and I'm constantly 
learning how much pretty packaging and perceived facility can cost. 
 Related to a question I'd asked earlier about snap servers and 
someone's response, I did a little digging around for more info on the 
guts of snap servers.  This is an old link, but someone found a way to 
replace the drives.  The potential savings was I think $700!
