Try CTRL - HOME and CTRL - END. Or, CTRL - SHIFT - HOME and CTRL - SHIFT - 
END.

One thing that I have noticed is that a lot of the key sequences used in M$ 
Windows are the same in most apps used in X Window --- except for the most 
basic of programs included with XFree86.
