the semantics would be something like border gateway routing -- maybe
run occasional racing pings on the networks involved to choose the
interface
for that network -- then you get failover for free, although it will
knock
out active connections on the dead interface, unless you really are
playing
RIP or EGRP or something instead of NAT.

Launching a couple of pings at SYN-sending time for addresses that you
haven't
seen before might be an acceptable delay -- round-robin the interfaces
if
the pings don't return
