I checked dmesg and 'cat /proc/meminfo'. and they both say 1 gig my bios says 2 gigs. Why won't is
see it all?

I would not rely on top being an accurate tool to report system information.
Try looking in dmesg or do a 'cat /proc/meminfo'.
My two cents.

Subject: Memory Question
Hey all, I have a Redhat 7.0 server 2.2.-16 With 2 Gigs of ram. When I run
top or cat proc it only reports about 1 Gig of ram. Is there some limit or
do I need a different kernel. Please send help. Thanks, Michael
