Our setup isn't strictly like your example, but there are multiple routers
that can "see" any other part of any of the other networks. Those routers
however have a certain level of paranoia and bounce traffic not permitted,
so the answer to your question would be hard to thoroughly test. The routers
and networks do intercommunicate and some pieces can even be seen system
wide. So my answer is it's doable and has been done and your instructor
needs more training.
