Slackware puts the kernel image in / instead of /boot.  If you move /vmlinuz
to /boot/vmlinuz you will no longer have a problem.  Mandrake is a good
system.  I run in on the server here at home.  Unfortunately, it's overhead
is a little excessive when it comes to routing.

Ok -- I've played around with some settings on trying to get Slackware to
run . . . I'm not in the mood to bash my head against a brick wall.   Now
I'm downloading the latest Mandrake.  (Thank God for DSL -- 790Kbps right
now . . . )   We'll see how this goes.   At the very least I'll have a nice
CD collection.  :-/
