Distro of the day . . .

Slackware puts the kernel image in / instead of /boot. If you move /vmlinuz
to /boot/vmlinuz you will no longer have a problem. Mandrake is a good
system. I run in on the server here at home. Unfortunately, it's overhead
is a little excessive when it comes to routing.

Ok -- I've played around with some settings on trying to get Slackware to
run . . . I'm not in the mood to bash my head against a brick wall. Now
I'm downloading the latest Mandrake. (Thank God for DSL -- 790Kbps right
now . . . ) We'll see how this goes. At the very least I'll have a nice
CD collection. :-/
