Dual NICs Problems

Hello:

I would like to thank everyone for their input on helping me set up an Apache Server. Thanks.

Now I have another problems:

I successfully installed and configured two NICs on one system. I assigned eth0 and eth1 the
following IPs repectively, 10.10.10.100 and 10.10.10.101. When I ping to eth0 from another computer
it works fine. But when I try to ping to eth1 from that same computer I pinged eth0 from, I get an
unreachable host error. Now, if I turn off eth0 ( ifconfig eth0 down ) I am able to reach eth1.
When I bring eth0 back up I cannot reach eth0, only eth1. I have the same problem viceversa.

One other thing I also noticed is when I execute ifconfig command eth0 have a lot of errors. Looks
like its always trying to connect to something; the light on the NIC turns on and off constantly.
What can this be?

I know this email sounds confusing. Let me know if I can explain it better.

Thanks once again.
