ISP Selection

If you can get SWBell DSL, Sprint ION, or Cable, then those are the ways
to go, especially since they're all Ethernet connectivity, using either
DHCP or static IP's.  Don't let them use USB on you.

They're simplest, fastest, and always-on.  Most of the high-speed
providers allow you to setup some server services on your end.  If you
use something like http://www.yi.org/ or http://www.dyndns.org/ you can
actually get into your machine, even though you do not have a static
address.

However, due to availability and price (starting at $40/month, ranging
up to $160/month, plus tax,) some people, like myself cannot do it, yet.

If you're stuck with dial-up, try http://www.kcnet.com/  I think they're
still a Linux-friendly ISP here in KC.

I am looking for a new ISP, that offers support for linux, and also had
not stupid session limit or max hours per month.  Anyone know of a good
one?
