| Well, you can call it whatever you want. I call it the truth. And if

A thinly veiled insult aimed at Jim regarding his nievity followed by a
generally disparaging statement on the American political system with no
set of substantiating conversational factoids == trolling. If you want
people to have a conversation with you for the purpose of getting them
to agree with your point of view, you don't start out by insulting the
subjects of your post, scratching your beard and then preceding to
bestow your divine wisdom on the political nature of Linux on the rest
of us.

I think you need to have a good long look at the archives. This whole
thread is hypocritical since the "request to not post political stuff"
was itself politically loaded. Further, Jim didn't ask anyone to agree
with ANY point of view. He didn't even post a political statement. For
that matter, he even forewarned anyone reading the post that it was off
- -topic. Jesus tap-dancing Christ! (I've been dying to slip that in
somewhere.) Calm down, damn it.

And if The People are political idiots, it's The People's fault. The
People are going to get politically smarter by talking to The People
about politics. There is an appropriate balance barrier however and I
believe it wasn't even remotely approached by Jim's post.
