You should realize that this is really not the right forum for political
content.

By the time you get to my age, you will realize that neither party
really cares about you beyond you being willing to let them spend your
income for you. REALITY: The pols just want to have others peoples money
to spend on their respective friends and ego monuments.

This list is supposed to be about Linux - something that transcends
politics in that Linux is international, has no governing structure and
is a great example of the wonderful things that can happen when the
government stays out of the way.

Linux also fails to fit into any political philosophy. It may seem
leftest in the way everyone shares, yet it is aggressively
competitive/capitalistic in the "survival of the fittest" of packages
(something quite missing in what is left of todays the free enterprise
system - now sadly corrupt and bordering on socialism). It is also
embraced and sponsored by capitalist corporations. I would think Linux
is Libertarian if anything.

In the next months we will all get bombarded to distraction with content
intended to influence our votes - I suggest we keep this a pol free zone.

Try alt.politics instead.
