I'm new to the KCLUG as well. I am hoping to meet some like-minded
(think information should stay free for public good, etc.) people.
Another reason I'm joining is because hardly anyone I know actually use
linux. They're mostly windows techs who say " yeah, I need to start
learning linux" but never do. I've been using OSS and gnu-linux now for
about 3 years or so, and don't consider myself green any more (however,
I still know hardly anything in the grand scheme). As a result of this,
I was also joining hoping to find some projects I could work on
locally. For example, schools or something non-profit that needs a
solution. I can help!!!!!! If anyone knows of anything like this,
please let me know...
