My name is Doug Bliss, President of the local KC .NET SIG and I'm sending this
workshop information to other KC SIG groups such as yours.

The workshop (see attached) topic is Extreme Programming (XP) and will be led by
Kent Beck, the founder of this increasingly popular software methodology. It is
being held in conjunction with a Microsoft developers conference we host each
spring that will bring 300 people from around the country to Kansas City, this
year at the Westin Crown Center.

The workshop is geared toward software developers and managers alike, that may
need help deciding whether their organizations should seriously evaluate Extreme
Programming (XP). Kent Beck will take attendees through the philosophy and
application of XP, helping them see where XP would have impact in terms of both
costs and benefits.

Software industry experts like this don't come to Kansas City that often so I'm
trying to spread the word. If you know of anyone else (organizations or
individuals) that might like to attend, please forward this to them or let me
know and I'll be happy to send them the information.

Doug Bliss
