RR / Cable Broadband pricing

I wasn't sure if I was going to weigh in on this TWC/Everest Issue or not,
since opinions seem to be pretty strong. I thought it might be nice to stay
out of a controversial thread for once.

Alas.

Since it was my remarks about my $15/month savings that started it off, I
feel the need to clarify:

It is TRUE that, about 6 months ago, following Everest's install in my
neighborhood, TWC came door-to-door offering special "Customer Retention"
pricing. In my opinion, that is entirely within their rights. In case you'd
like to disagree, go right ahead; I won't argue. But note that this has been
settled pretty clearly in the courts thanks to Victoria's Secret, who put
different prices in their catalogs based on Zip Code.

It is also TRUE that the $59.99/month plan I described for a Road Runner &
Digital Cable package is an offer TWC makes to EVERYONE. It is NOT part of
their "Customer Retention" pricing. If you don't believe me, call them and
ask. (Do not bother to check their website as it is not mentioned there. I
believe it is, as I mentioned before, called "Digital Tier I."

Note that I do not work for either Everest or TWC (or Victoria's Secret, for
that matter) and that everything in this e-mail is true as of today, to the
best of my knowledge. But, I (obviously) do not speak in any official way
for anyone but myself.
