Linux embedded devices and us. Are any of us choosing what to buy based on "Linux inside"?

It is often a non-issue for "appliance operators" so to speak. Most of
the mundanes use tech on the toaster or coin vendor interaction level.
What code either box "runs on"  is of zero thought as it makes zero
change.Other than a quarter change for your 2 dollar bills if the pop
is $1.75 My phone is M$ based. It would be VERY desirable to replace
the phone's firmware etc with  Linux. As then every
button/Bell/blinkenlight could work to MY settings!

SO- tell us of what "Linux Inside" devices are in your daily  life and
details count...

My shortlist:

Network gear.

3 computers.

Cheap music player.

Pending is theSlimp3  "Squeezebox" music
