 Bob,
Did you get any error messages when you tried to view the site or
episodes?
It is probably the Flash 9 player you need. Yep, confirmed. Blech,
that show sucks. /me wipes off the cooties.

Go here: http://www.adobe.com/go/getflashplayerlinux or
http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflash

The site is slow too. You can also check to see if your distro supplies
the Flash Player. Ubuntu does.

Brian

PS Now watch as several complain that the player is not free.

Hello All,

This evening my wife wanted to know if she could watch Passions
from the NBC.com site. (If I can't get this to work she'll start
in again with the "Get a real computer" campaign. ;-] )

I currently run Linspire 5, to keep her slightly happier than a
non-Windows Lemming oriented distribution would. I have their
Mozilla Suite, Firefox 2.0.0.4, and Opera 9.10 installed. None
of them will play any video at NBC.com. If it helps, Mozilla
says that I have "libjavaplugin_oji.so Java(TM) Plug-in
1.5.0_04" installed for Java.

Is it possible to view NBC.com videos using Linux? Could I be
missing a plug-in?

Personally, I could care less about this, but the wife insists
on knowing.

Any help appreciated,

Bob Kennedy
