Buzzword of the Week: MVC? (Was: Ruby on Rails / Web Technologies)

I noticed that someone already posted on MVC framework that was written in 
perl, but this one apparently one the Linux Journal Editor's Choice

Is it just me or has the MVC buzzword really become popular these days?

I do quite a lot of programming and I just can't seem to get excited about 
it. ;-)
