Unfortunately, the bent pin is bent in 2 places and looks like it is nearly sheared off at the 
base.  It's amazing the amount of
damage that a 18 month-old can inflict on hardware!

I should probably assume you've already considered and dismissed this. But, a good pair of tweezer, 
fine needle nose pliers, or in a
hurry a pocket knife can usually put those bent pins back in alignment. Of course the last time I 
did it, was with a pocket knife
and I bent the pin around so much that it broke off...
