HD maker makes a Linux HD

I suspect any current system supports booting from
USB. I just bought an ABit MB from NewEgg and it
supports booting from USB and it would support booting
from firewire, but I didn't get a MB with the firewire
option. This was ABits bottom market model. Of course
ABit is more of a market leader so it could just be an
ABit thing. I doubt it though.
