Resizing Reiser

Aha! When you resized the reiserfs did you make it bigger?
If so then you definitely screwed yourself up. It's kind
of like trying to pour a gallon of beer into a quart jug,
some of the beer must spill over. I would say that is where 
you went wrong, and has nothing to do with any of the software
tools you used being buggy.
