Looking for alternative to Redhat

I was told that KDE just flew on Slackware. I just got a copy of Slack
9.1 to install and try it out on a separate (spare) partition. I can't
say much more than that, since I have no experience with Slack. But, I
can pass along that bit of info. There is happiness in Slackland with
KDE. :-)
