Suggestions on installing mySQL and PHP

Two excellent sources for information is www.php.net and www.mysql.com. Their documentation
sections are really good, and contains 'real user comments' as well. However, these sites are best
as reference guides. For tutorials, the method I employed seemed to work pretty well - a
combination of litterature and well commented example GPL code (of which there is an endless
supply).

Good luck! I think you'll find PHP and MySQL to be a very exciting new tool to learn, and VERY
useful.

| if you all might be able to point me to a good tutorial for someone
| who doesn't know what they're doing (me).
|
| I've messed with it a bit before, but not seriously.
|
| Any suggestions? What not's & Whats?
|
| Thanks,
