I can't speak for Garmin directly, but once upon a time I was a Xerox(-oid)
and the message given to me was Mother Xerox doesn't really appreciate ones
who wonder from the flock . . . perhaps there is a similar situation with
Garmin? I know nobody ever intends to burn bridges, but leaving a company
can make it nearly impossible to come back with them. (Unless of course
the business is spiraling in flames and *really* needs *you* back . . .
then they'll hire you back for $$$$$$ increase . . . )
