jobs?

Nice article. My friends and I have known about the importance of
communication for over 5 years. We practice what we preach.

Sometime last summer a friend of mine applied for a job at DST. He went
through two interviews and had 90% of the experience, certifications,
and skills they were looking for. They didn't hire him because he came
across as arrogant.

A month later, another friend was laid off by Sprint. Within 3 business
days he applied for a position at DST. They interviewed him three times
and hired him within 1 week with a starting salary around $50,000. He
had 50% of the skills and <10% of the experience. They hired him because
of his personality and communication skills for a technical position.

My advice is meant to help and nothing more, whether you are currently
employed or not.

Actually, last month Sprint had yet another round of layoffs and I
inquired about being a layoff volunteer and they told me "No".
