I installed gentoo about 2 weeks ago after reading through some of
jason's emails and I am loving it.  I have never been to 'hard core' as
for as X goes, but now I am watching DivX rips on my desktop *warm
fuzzies*..

Not to mention that gentoo community is full of a bunch of cool people
that like to help out whenever they can (from my experience so far).

forums.gentoo.org  is very helpful, and when you just want to BS around
an such:

irc.freenode.net #gentoo  average of around 500 users everytime I have
stopped by

I was wondering how many of you are using this distribution.

I'm considering it (it will be the ppc port) and would like your 
opinion on ease of install, configuration, etc.

Does it come with X or do you need to download it separately?

I noticed that the ISO file was 120 megs or so, and I guess I kinda 
figgered that a little small for a complete distribution.

The file listing also gave a couple of .tbz2 files (stage 2 & 3).

What do I do with these files and what exactly are they?
