This is not necessarily true.  Companies are looking for lots of 
certifications and many years of experience, but they want all that in a 
22 year old college grad that will work for minimum wage.

Right now they can get away with that attitude because people with 
advanced degrees are accepting help desk jobs just to pay the heat and 
water bills.
