Microsoft to kill popular Linux antivirus product

sure, but who's to say that they (ficticious linux
company) dont sell out, and microsoft locks the doors
and shuts the company down. then the next day,
suddenly there is a new linux distro formed, but this
company starts off with the proceeds from the sale.
whats microsoft going to do, buy the source code? the
only thing that they could possibly profit from is
killing a name.
