I've had it

I've been offering to host kclug.org (for free) for months now.
I got a new list up at www.kclinux.net that a lot of people seem to of
subscribed to in the last 3 days.
I can turn on phpBB on www.kclinux.net at a click of a button if anyone
wants me to.

Ok. I would like to ask a few questions, flame at will.

If Mike that runs the list and is no longer available to maintain it can
we please elect Hal or someone else to maintain it?

Where is the email server physically located?

How much bandwidth/disk space a day does this list really use?

And after a few questions I would like to state that I am thank full
that people do donate their time, money, and energy to a good cause (I
do the same with my domain hosting other sites for free) but when you
have a following thats this active, and the leader of the mail list is
no longer actively maintaining it, maybe its time to pass the torch.

There may be many reasons as to why any of what I have described isn't
taking place and I am all ears to hear it.

I vote for a closed list, thats a bit more timely, and maintained.

PS If you don't consider my vote because I don't go to meetings so be
it. But remember, I have only been a member for less then 2 months and
already am trying to get people hooked up with serious jobs, and give
away free hosting for others on the list. It's what I can give to the
list right now and we are all trying to contribute in any way we can.
Please don't be judge mental about those of us that don't have time to
drive into KC for meetings.

I'm not shouting.

Thanks for your time
