hmmmmm... I don't think that's how I learned it on RH...
I have a .Xclients, a .Xclients-default and a .Xauthority (which I
believe deals with ssh?) in my /home directory.... no XF86Config of any
type.
A search of the entire system reveals XF86Config in the following locations:
/etc/X11/XF86Config
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/XF86Config
A search of the entire system for XF86Config-4 returns:
/etc/X11/XF86Config-4
This is RH 7.0. I'll look on RH 8.0 when I get home.
