OT]Resolution [was: Flat panel monitors

I'm guessing that it's a pricing issue.  I'm still being told that half the
cost of my laptop is the screen.  It does 1600x1200 and looks awesome.  So,
if I'm paying over 1000 for the screen on this laptop, maybe the 15'' flat
panel I get for $300 wouldn't be as great.
