I log all of the traffic in my irc channel. Included in these logs are my passwords. How would I go about stripping the logs (142mb worth) of my password? I assume I could use grep -v password .xchat/xchatlogs/* > xchatlogsclean but I'm looking to learn something by doing it the 'right way' TIA, ML
