I can understand wanting to keep the list loosely true to its
purpose, but remember, this discussion was about things that
can help us techies get jobs.  As far as that goes, it sure
seems to me that the general advice that you should try not to
sound too ignorant during an interview is on topic.

Perhaps it not necessary for all of us in the Grammar Police to
enumerate our pet peeves;  But, can you see why the thread
started?  Don't you think, "Try not to sound like an ignoramus
in the interview," is good advice?
