They may be partnered with a publisher who prints the books, burns and
silk-screens the CD's and puts them in the Attractively Decorated Boxes.
The publisher would still get their cut, but money that would ordinarily go
to retail and distributon would go to RedHat.

Stores like CompUSA and Amazon.com don't make a lot of profit per-copy, they
rely in volume, and on the fact that carrying a boxed version of Linux lets
them boast of a more complete selection, and sells other Linux-compatible
items (see "volume").

So a little more goes to RedHat, and sales tax vs. shipping is probably a
wash.  Support the company you'd like to see succeed.
